Denmark is one of Europe’s leading countries in the energy transition, with a high proportion of renewable energy in its power generation mix. This creates higher requirements for grid flexibility and the operational stability of energy storage systems.
The core objective of this project is to provide the customer with a liquid-cooled energy storage solution that meets local requirements for peak shaving, frequency regulation and market access. While ensuring safe and stable system operation, the project also helps improve energy efficiency and increase the customer’s return on investment.
The system can discharge electricity during periods of high grid demand to support peak shaving and frequency regulation. It can also charge during off-peak electricity price periods and discharge during peak-price periods to generate revenue from peak-valley electricity price differences.
By integrating green electricity applications, the project may also help the customer qualify for local green energy subsidies, further improving the overall economic performance of the project.

The energy storage system can respond rapidly to grid dispatch requirements. It regulates charging and discharging when grid loads fluctuate, helping improve the stability and flexibility of grid operation.
The system can charge during off-peak electricity price periods and discharge during peak-price periods, helping the customer reduce electricity costs and generate revenue from peak-valley electricity price differences.
By incorporating green electricity into the project, the system can meet relevant local green energy subsidy requirements and create an additional source of revenue for the customer.
This project is equipped with one 125kW/261kWh integrated liquid-cooled energy storage cabinet. The system integrates the battery system, PCS, liquid-cooling temperature control system, fire suppression system and EMS energy management system.
Its compact and integrated design is suitable for the European market’s requirements for safety, efficiency and regulatory compliance.
